Our teachers

Ms. Ainie

Ms. Ainie has been teaching preschool and kindergarten for more than 13 years, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education as a licensed teacher. She is originally from the central part of the Philippines, and her love for teaching has taken her to wonderful places like Kuwait and now Japan, where she continues to enjoy working with early learners.

She absolutely loves creating a fun, creative, and engaging classrooms where children can explore their full potential. Through sensory play, dramatic play, creative arts, experiments, and games, she believes learning becomes joyful and meaningful. Her goal is to help children grow holistically, developing not only their skills but also their confidence, curiosity, and global citizenship.

Teaching young children is truly her passion. They inspire her every day and hold a very special place in her heart; that’s why she chose to be an early childhood educator!

Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures, and trying delicious local foods. She also loves playing the ukulele, singing songs, and visiting museums and art galleries in her free time. Life, to her, is a wonderful adventure to learn, explore, and share with others!

Ms. Ali

Ms. Ali grew up in Chicago, Illinois in the United States.
From an early age, she was eager to create and explore. In the summer growing up, she went on hiking and fishing trips throughout North America.  Through that, she built her belief that being in touch with nature is so important for early development and creativity.

Being from a city herself, she didn’t have that access every day and is so grateful to be part of an educational team which values bringing outdoor learning to city kids.  She believes children are kind, creative, and the best explores out there; those qualities should be nurtured and cherished.


In her free time, Ms. Ali loves to create art, play her flute or guitar, explore different gardens in the city, read a book, or go to concerts.

Ms. Renee

Ms. Renee’s hometown is in Brisbane, Queensland Australia.

She has over ten years experience teaching children in Japan, and is passionate about supporting a child’s development when expressing themselves through English. Ms Renee loves to spark curiosity in those she teaches. As an early years educator, she enjoys building an exciting atmosphere for her students so they will be inspired to try new challenges and be unafraid to create unique and vibrant worlds. She encourages children to use their imaginations, always motivating those in her class to become confident as explorers and communicators.

She loves to create inviting dramatic areas and learning experiences that inspire her students to participate, as well as create colorful displays that showcase the sparkle of her students work.

Ms Renee adores cats and has two of her own called Cookie and Toffee. She also loves creative writing, film, Keith Haring, art museums, unique fashion, Adidas and Haribo.

Ms. Lorin

Ms. Lorin is a licensed teacher in the Philippines and love working with children. She has been teaching in private schools in Japan for 5 years.

Ms. Lorin is from Manila, Philippines. She loves teaching because she loves to inspire young minds to become creative thinkers and independent learners. What she loves about Japan the most is the safety and cleanliness of surroundings. They make her feel good everyday. During her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking healthy meals, and spending time at the beach.

Ms. Sayaka

Ms. Sayaka is Japanese, and has the Japanese national Hokushi (crèche teacher) qualification.

With her Irish husband, she is raising her children as J/E bilinguals. Also she was an organizer of a playgroup in the local park, where she learned how to motivate children in natural yet safe environments.


She enjoys organizing events, crafts and DIY, as well as visiting old architecture and wearing kimono in her free time.

Ms. Asami

Ms. Asami is from Japan, and she is a certified nursery teacher (hoikushi) and also a sleep counselor and yoga instructor for babies and adults.

“Be yourself, Try anything!" is her favorite quote. She has experiences in various fields. After she worked as a tour guide in Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks, management of a English school, and traveled alone in all of Australia, she worked her way through as a manager in the pediatrics field and then shifted to working in a nursery where she discovered the love for children.

She loves the sun, ocean, and enjoy doing beach yoga. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with children, enjoying their growth and development, and nurture each child's wonderful individuality.

Koyomi sensei

Koyomi sensei is our preschool gymnastic teacher from TOMAS.

She is from Kyoto and has 7 years experience as a gymnastics athlete and 14 years experience in teaching. She loves children and decided to become a gymnastic teacher. Her motto is to have fun while moving the body and would love to support the growth of each children.

Koyomi sensei is a mother to two girls, four and three years old. Her hobby is to search for cute matching outfits for them.
